iWorkDogs Expert Dog and Puppy Programs
In Los Angeles, iWorkDogs provides expert dog and puppy immersive board-and-train (boot camp) programs. We are dog lovers and dog advocates. We use balanced training techniques and emphasize the importance of having fun while we learn. Many believe it’s easier to train a puppy than a grown dog, but contrary to popular belief, you can teach an old dog new tricks. Whether your dog came to you as an adult with bad habits or you were not able to successfully train them during puppyhood, our dog trainers can help. No dog is too challenging for us!
Puppy training provides the skills and behavioral strategies that your pet will need throughout their life. Our immersive programs take the hassle out of crate training, housebreaking, leash training and more. Your puppy will return home after the iWorkDogs boot camp program with all the important skills they need to be good dogs.
Board and Train Programs
During our Boot Camp, we start your dog off on the right paw with fully immersive training. That means your dog comes to stay with us for a period of four to ten weeks, depending on their needs, during which time we train them in behavioral and obedience skills. We start all our clients’ dogs off with immersion training because our experience has shown us this method yields the best results in the shortest possible time. Immersion training allows us to work with your pet virtually around the clock, as though they were our own dog, and address even the most extreme behavioral challenges. This provides a level of consistency and clarity that is difficult to achieve otherwise.Plus, when you enroll your dog in our immersion training program, follow-up lessons are included. These are helpful if you or your family members have trouble being firm enough with your dog at home to maintain the skills they have learned, or if your dog develops new issues post-training that you need help with. Even if your dog behaves perfectly, you can bring them to class to learn how to teach them tricks to impress your friends and family. Boarding and training is a great option for LA dog owners who want to address their dog’s behavioral issues such as separation anxiety, reactivity or for families who lack the time for private one-on-one lessons.
